Members

Ductus

Elmo

Elmo2.jpg
  • Clan: Malkavian Antitribu
  • Position: Ductus
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 2 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: No one knows what Elmo really looks like, or what his real name is. If he ever takes off his six foot tall, blood stained suit, he does it well away from even the other members of his pack. Even his origins are a mystery; He simply showed up in Times Square one evening, preying on tourists and the homeless. While in character as the lovable Sesame Street character, Elmo embodies all the characteristics that make his namesake so endearing. To his fellow Sabbat however, he can be mean-spirited, territorial, and downright bad-mannered. Between these two personalities, his voice never changes.

Pack Priest

Hello Kitty

  • Clan: Pander
  • Position: Pack Priest
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 2 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: The only female member of Side Show, Hello Kitty looks perhaps the least like the character she emulates. This is to be expected, since classic Hello Kitty is a heavily stylized children’s cartoon character. The Cainite who goes by that name wears clothing very similar, and a large mascot head representing the character. She was embraced by Captain America, her work ethic when he saw her on the other side of the Square, but after her embrace she turned out to be an easily bored, easily distracted actor who would rather spend her time exploring the tourists than working their pack’s domain. Her insight into morality and her unwavering support for their packmates, however, has earned her the position of Side Show’s Priest, a role which Captain America is concerned she will stop taking seriously if she ever loses the motivation for it.

Abbott

Batman

  • Clan: Malkavian Antitribu
  • Position: Abbott
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 2 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Once a street artist who concocted caricatures of Batman, the Malkavian Antitribu beneath the mask gained Elmo’s attention because of how much his work was detracting from Elmo’s corner. After a confrontation that resulted in the embrace of the artist, he donned the cowl himself to join Elmo’s pack in masquerading as superheroes in Time Square. Since his embrace, Batman has had little motivation to continue his art, preferring instead to live out the life of the caped crusader, although his empathetic nature and his mortal contacts go a long way towards providing for his pack’s needs.

Brother

Superman

  • Clan: Malkavian Antitribu
  • Position: Brother
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Another of Elmo’s progeny, Superman’s physique truly fits the bill. With a costume that looks like it came directly from the set of a superman film and a face fit for the silver screen, Superman has had to turn down several attempts at recruiting him for movie auditions. Fortunately for Side Show, these pitches tend to result in a nice meal for the pack. Superman really enjoys filling the role of his character, and when he is not mercilessly killing to fill his and his packmates’ appetites he is raising the spirits of children and tourists up and down the Square.

Brother

Spiderman

  • Clan: Malkavian Antitribu
  • Position: Brother
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Spiderman was embraced after a lengthy conversation with Superman, in which the man of steel became convinced that the young man he was speaking to embodied Spiderman’s origin story quite nicely. Ultimately, what made Superman think he could get away with the embrace was that Spiderman just seemed like the kind of person who would accept it without really putting up a fight over it, afterwards. He was right, and Spiderman fell right into step with the rest of Side Show, enjoying his newfound abilities and freedom from life’s responsibilities and obligations.

Brother

Captain America

  • Clan: Pander
  • Position: Brother
  • Faction: Loyalist
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Perhaps the only member of Side Show more irritable than Elmo is Captain America. He fits his suit rather poorly, and the suit itself is clearly a costume store, nylon knock off. He is detached, shallow, excitable, ill-tempered, and hardly ever smiles. In essence, he is the worst possible person to portray Captain America on the streets of Times Square, and the pack knows it too. Captain America rarely gets brought out for pictures or propaganda. Rather, he is the pack’s strong arm in the event that other members of the city’s Cainite population make the mistake of deciding that it’s a good idea to try to muscle in on Side Show’s turf. Elmo may be the first one you see coming in a fight, but Captain America is the last.
