• Background: As the centuries passed Janina rose to head a chantry among the Tremere Antitribu in New York City. A position she was placed in by the Tzimisce she choose to serve. They spoke vaguely of her duty there to keep an eye on something horrible from the forgotten history of the clan beneath New York City. Her prestige among the Tremere Antitribu even rose to such promise as to be noticed by Goratrix himself. Regardless, the notice of Goratrix created something of a rivalry between Janina and Jasmine the Black Spellbinder of Montreal. For years they would trade insults and accomplishments. In the end though, to Janina she appeared to have won.

When the Tremere Antitribu were all destroyed in 1999, Janina has been called back to the Carpathians on business. She learned the New York Chantry of the Tremere Antitribu fell and all that remained of the Tremere Antitribu. Janina returns to New York to rebuild her Chantry. Regardless Jania now returns home to an empty house once more to rebuild and watch over the charge of the horror that lays beneath the streets of New York City.

Solomon Bishop

• Background: Solomon Bishop was not always one of the most fervent preachers of the damned. Several centuries ago he didn’t preach to the damned. He hunted them. In life Solomon Bishop was an Inquisitor in the Society of Leopold. Solomon was raised and trained by the church from birth. Born of a prestigious line of Inquisitors, Solomon was destined to hunt the servants of hell. At the age of eighteen, he joined Gladius Dei, the sword of god. These elite warriors were the Society’s best Inquisitors. They were sent on the most dangerous missions the church had need to deal with. For many years Solomon served in this role. He outlived many of his other fellow Gladius Dei members. Over the years Solomon learned to master the arts of heaven and to wield the holy flame of purification. Solomon’s particular area of expertise became vampires.

Enki, the Lord of Skulls

• Background: Enki is one of the few Harbingers of Skulls in New York City and arrived shortly after the bloodline joined the Sabbat in 1999. Very little is known of his past; though he is clearly an elder vampire. Enki has grown to be the necromatic expert of the city and seems to spend most his time navigating a means to strike at the Giovanni; while also respecting Cardinal Polonai's orders. So far his efforts have not been rebutted by the good Cardinal. Other Sabbat who interact with Enko find him cryptic and bizarre. He has some relationship with Vidod the master of the Shadowlands. This elusive Cainite hordes a wealth of knowledge and skills in the world of dead, and offers his service to any who are willing to pay his price.
