• Background: The man whose name has been swallowed by shadows in exchange for power is a mystery to many lasombra. His past long since faded from the annals of history, only his sire has an recollection anymore. Though the fog of eternity even effects such ancient beings as sire, and soon even those memories shall to fade, all to the nothingness of the Abyss.

Many rumors and legends surround the elder known as De Marquis. As such is a title, not a name. He is one of the four Prsci of New York City and among his clan the most powerful abyss mystic across the eastern seaboard, if not all of north America. Many of his disciples have tried to on cover the history of this enigmatic lasombra elder. What his students have been able to piece together, they have done so on a hunch only. Based on his manner of dress, title, and way he acts, they have theorize that he is from the French revolution. Indeed there was a lasombra embraced during such a time that matches similar things to De Maqruis. But the elder himself never comments on the truth.

• Background: The eldest disciple of De Marquis; Nangaithya is an alien to even most Sabbat vampires. She spends most of her nights in the shadow form of the Lasombra and rarely interacts with others. Like most her pack, Nangithya explores the depths of the Abyss and secrets it may have to offer. When she does appear to other Sabbat she is often cryptic and difficult to understand. Speaking mostly in riddles. For your average Sabbat member they simply think her mad or useless. Nangaithya doesn't mind either opinion. She is only interested in learning the secrets of the darkness and those who might better aid her in doing so.

• Background: The Lasombra known as Sin spends most of his nights leading a mortal cult to the Abyss in a broken and forgotten church. Who Sin was in life or even his name is long gone to the Abyss he serves. Now this shadowy vampire holds dark ceremonies among his cultists in an inverted faith to the darkness that came before light. Those Sabbat who have spoken with him; find Sin to be a charismatic vampire who speaks in prophecy and scripture of both the Sabbat and the Abyss. Of most his pack members, Sin is the one whom most other Sabbat interact with. As few others leave the confines of Willow Brook and the Darkness of it.

• Background: The Shadow Warrior Aya is the Lasombra Mystic of the pack. Her pale skin and demeanor presents herself as something of a vampire amazonian of legend. She is a woman of few words and prefers to speak in direct actions. She is protector of the pack and pulls on the power of the void to aid in her combat skills. Most sabbat vampires are unsure of how old Aya is and she can sometimes be found in the fighting pits of the five points. While it is rare for a Lasombra mystic to find her way among the warriors of the Sabbat; she can often be sent as the envoy of her back to battles in the city as needed.
