Player Points

Player Points Player points are earned when the players of the game perform various actions for the game itself and our community. A Player may accumulate any number of player points to be spent as detailed below. Storytellers are always the ones who award Player points, but players are free to request them and detail the reasons/what they did to earn them. Visitors to Kings of New York are also welcome to earn KoNY Player points, but it remains their responsibility to keep track of them in their Discord Player Rooms. For KoNY Players, their Player Points should be tracked on the Notes section of their Character sheet. Below are some examples of ways our players can earn KoNY Player points.

• Help a New Player • Help a New Player with Character Creation • Mentor another Character, In Character • Bring a group Players into a plot with you • Help Market Kings of New York Games and Events • Recruit a New Player • Volunteer to Run a Scene as a Narrator • Any other positive player behavior the Storyteller wishes to reward

Here are the various ways and costs you can spend KoNY Player Points: 1 Player Point: Spend to instantly get +3 Bonus Traits on any challenge for a PVE scene run in KoNY 2 Player Point: A Retest on any PVE related challenge for a scene run in KONY 3 Player Points: Turn a Single Loss in a Challenge into a tie for a PVE scene run in KoNY 4 Player Points: 1 Extra Downtime action for the Month you spend it 5 Player Points: Approval to have an NPC teacher for any of the following Disciplines to Advanced: Animalism, Auspex, Celerity, Dominate, Fortitude, Obfuscate, Potence, Presence 6 Player Points: Approval to have an NPC teacher for any of the following Disciplines to Advanced: Obtenebration, Vicissitude, Valeren, Serpentis, Quietus, Dementation 7 Player Points: A Magic Item 8 Player Points: Approval to an NPC Teacher you a Combination Discipline within the ability of a Storyteller Approval (not Coordinator Approval items)
