They reject the old-world hierarchies of the Sword of Caine. They reject the “play-slave” militarism of the elders. They preach one thing: “Cain gave us freedom. Not chains. Not orders. Not old men pretending to be generals.” To them, the Sabbat is a street revolution, not a military machine.

  • Background: : Rashad “Razor” Coleman grew up in the heart of gang-ridden South Bronx public housing. His mother worked two jobs; his father disappeared before Rashad could speak. The gang life wasn’t a choice—it was the environment. He learned fast: if you weren’t feared, you were eaten.

Razor earned his street name when, at 17, he defended his younger brother from a local warlord by carving open the man’s arm with a boxcutter. Word spread. Razor didn’t just fight—he fought with purpose.

He organized local crews into something resembling a community defense movement. He fought corrupt landlords, crooked cops, and rival gangs who preyed on immigrants and kids. He became a neighborhood folk hero—violent, yes, but righteous.

A Sabbat war party swept through the Bronx during a Crusade. A Brujah antitribu named Matron Blood-Rime found Razor standing alone over a burning barricade, protecting a block from a rival gang invasion. She saw raw leadership and a voice that commanded without fear.

Razor rose from the grave feral and furious—but instead of collapsing into the Beast, he wrestled it into submission with willpower forged in poverty and fire.

  • Background: A street tattoo artist named Inez Calderon, known for her brutal, surreal body art. She ran an unofficial tattoo parlor out of a storage locker, serving gang members, runaways, and anyone who needed identity rewritten on their skin.

Her art wasn’t just ink—it was therapy, confession, and rebirth.

She was taken by a Tzimisce scout who admired the way she peeled back the human psyche with a needle. Her sire left her alone underground with only a jar of blood and whispered instructions:

“Carve divinity from flesh.”

Inez survived by experimenting on herself.

Her body became a shifting canvas: scripture crawling across her ribs, glowing symbols pulsing beneath her skin.

  • Background: Vega and Reina Castillo grew up in a violent household. Their father ran protection rackets; their mother fled when they were nine. The twins protected each other fiercely, developing a private language of glances and gestures.

As teens, they became notorious underground fighters, winning illegal boxing matches to feed themselves. Their nickname—The Triple Crown Twins—came from a brutal move where they headbutted opponents simultaneously.

A Lasombra elder noticed them during a street tournament. He admired their unity but despised their independence. He Embraced Vega first, then Reina as leverage—intending to pit them against each other.

Instead, the Twins turned on him, crippled him, and fled into the subway tunnels, where Razor found and saved them.

  • Background: Born Tyrone Gray, he ran away at 14 and lived in tunnels, rooftops, and abandoned factories. His graffiti marked forgotten corners of the Bronx with luminous depictions of hooded angels and street saints. He earned the name Ghost because nobody ever caught him painting.

His sire found him scaling the side of a condemned building while the fire department screamed for him to come down. He embraced Tyrone mid-climb. he turned, laughed, and kept going.

  • Faction: None
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Born Nathaniel Roane, he was once a theology professor who suffered a psychotic break after losing his wife and child in a car accident. He abandoned his position and wandered the Bronx, claiming he saw angels made of rust beneath the city.

He lived for years underground, muttering sermons to rats and shadows, writing “street psalms” in charcoal on tunnel walls.

A Malkavian antitribu priest discovered him and declared him “already claimed by the Night Father.”

Nathaniel barely changed after the Embrace—he simply gained clarity.

His visions sharpened.

He began interpreting subway noise as divine whispers.

He foresaw the founding of the Bowery Kings before they existed.
