This page is dedicated to cataloging the major changes to the World of Darkness canon/metaplot that OWBN has done over the years. This is NOT a collection of In Character knowledge your Character may automatically posses. Instead this is a collection of our own OWBN Canon that differs from White Wolf, so players can be aware of the changes our organization has made to the canon/metaplot. If you have a doubt if your character can know about of these evens on an In Character levels, please ask a Storyteller first. You may not default to knowing what provided in this page with your characters without express permission from a Storyteller.

2000

• Clan Gangrel of the Camarilla, leave the Camarilla and become an Independent clan.
• The Tremere Antitribu of the Sabbat are all killed under mysterious Circumstances
• The Ravnos Antediluvian is slain in battle after awakening from its slumber by several unrelated supernatural forces in India
• The Week of Nightmares occurs
• The Tremere Curse on Clan Assamite is broken. Ur-Shulgi, childer of the Assamite Antediluvian awakens breaking he clan. The Schism of the Assamite is formed as a portion of the clan joins the Camarilla.
• The Garou Tribe of the Stargazers leave the Garou Nation to return to their homelands after several of their ancestral Caerens fall.
• The Red Star appears in the Night Sky to all supernatural’s, the Final Nights have begun.
• The sixth Great Maelstrom occurs after the Fall of Enoch in the Shadowlands and the use of two nuclear weapons in the lands of the dead. The Stygia collapses and wraith society is torn asunder.
• The Tal’Mahe’Ra collapses and breaks apart.
• Osiris awakens and creates the Reborn Mummies. The Children of Osiris Vampire bloodline are all destroyed or turned back into mortals to serve Osiris.
• The Sabbat Crusade lead by Cardinal Polonia along the East Coast of the United States begins.
• The Avatar Storm of the Mages occurs
• The Regent of the Sabbat, Melinda Galbraith assassinated in Mexico City. The Tzimisce Zachary Sikorsky impersonates the Regent to the Sabbat from this point.
• The Nosferatu Methuselah Baba Yaga meets final death under mysterious circumstances.

2001

• The Camarilla allows the practice of Amaranth to be granted by Princes to others in their Domain as a reward.
• The Keui-Jin invade Los Angeles and the West Coast. Kuei-Jin begin covertly moving into LA and setting up influence structures in L.A. and San Francisco. Gangrel Justicar Angus gets word of this and moves in with several Archons to investigate. Angus moves against the Kuei-Jin and is sent packing. He appeals to the Inner Council for aid in driving them out." The Inner Council, wishing both to learn more of the Kuei-Jin's intentions and to avoid a panic in the Kindred community, denies their existence and sends Angus away empty handed, prompting him to leave the Camarilla.
• The Camarilla appoints the Position of Herald to the Lasombra Antitribu.

2003

• Ventrue Justicar Robert Pedder is brought before the Keui-Jin and killed for his crimes against them.

2004

• Jaroslav Pascek is made Brujah Justicar of the Camarilla
• Lucinde Is made Ventrue Justicar of the Camarilla
• The Camarilla Domian of Phoenix Arizona is visited by the Red Lister Rabbat and spreads their plague. As a result most of it’s Kindred residents die or are forced into Torpor.

2005

• Loyalist activity of the Assamite clan increased worldwide in wake of Tariq’s Death.
• Jack the Barber, Toreador Antitribu of the Sabbat, is added to the Red List
• The Sabbat regent Melinda Galbraith is revealed to be the Tzimisce Zachary Sikorsky. Zachary is slain and the Tzimisce Henry Gaurant is named Regent of the Sabbat.

2006

• Sept of Ma’at’s Blessing, the Silent Strider sept falls to the Followers of Set
• Maris Streck is appointed the new Camarilla Justicar for clan Malkavian
• A handful of Elders and Princes from Europe have gotten together and decided that the Americas are drifting so far from the Camarilla ideals that there is a real concern that the whole place may go Anarch or Sabbat within a century or two. They watched the Wickham disaster and many other subsequent scandals and have decided that things are just out of control and something has to be done. In true Elder fashion, they want to do as little of the work themselves as possible. They also want to do it in a way that serves their interests and gives them possible new assets a few decades down the line. These Princes and Elders have decided that the way to go is to find promising, talented and possibly overlooked individuals in the Camarilla and feel them out to try and start a sort of traditionalist renaissance in this part of the world by encouraging those who holding fast to the traditional ideals and practices of the Camarilla.
• The Cities of Brimingham Alabama, Portland Oregon, and Seattle Washington are sieged and fall to the Sabbat.

2008

• The Camarilla Nosferatu Justicar Igor Ctarinov disappears and is replaced by Cock Robin of Clan Nosferatu
• The Brujah Bloodline of Jordanus first appears.
• The Red Lister Keminitiri makes her appearance in the Unite States
• A new Drug, a variant on Scopolmaine, created by the Black Spiral Dancers hits the United States. The drug causes those who take it to have fits of rage and anger, and thus attract banes to them.
• The Cult of Gangrel dedicated to Odin begins a War against the Gets of Fenris
• By raiding several sources of the Changelings, the Black Spiral Dancers start producing Wyrm Steel. A strong Wyrm type metal that is especially deadly to Changelings.
• The Children of Gaia of the Garou form and allow Camps once more.
• Angus, of Clan Gangrel returns
• Crows start vanishing from North America
• A cult of Gangrel known as the Fist to oppose Xavier the former Gangrel Justicar.
• The Gangrel Clan is Welcomed back into the Camarilla
• All vampires who are not Warrior Setites find their knowledge of the Combination Discipline “Typhonic Beast”: stripped from them. This was done through ancient powers by the Setite known as Thane Hyksos
• All non Tzimisce who once learned Vicissitude via a Disease find it stripped from their bodies.

2009

• Art Morgan, of Clan Gangrel becomes the Camarilla Gangrel Justicar
• The Hierophant Council of the Followers of Set awaken from their ancient slumber
• Clan Giovanni demotes the Machiavelli Family to Minor Family status
• A Spectre Civil War occurs in the Shadowlands, the Spectre Amanda rises to the rank of Once Born
• The Camarilla creates the Eyes of the Inner Circle
• The Camarilla Lasombra Antitribu Herald, Esteban Rashuan is killed and replaced by Stephan Lenior
• Tremere Justicar, Anastaz di Zagreb is killed in a surgical Sabbat Strike. He is replaced by the Tremere Lotharius as their new Justicar.
• The Garou Silver Fang house, House Austere falls and is eventually purged of its Wyrm Influence.
• All non Followers of Set and their bloodlines find their Serpentis Discipline mysteriously stripped from them. It is rumored the Setite Heirophant council was responsible.

2010

• The Rage Bay caren of the Garou is attacked and Destroyed by the forces of the Wyrm
• The Eye of Hazmiel turns up in the New Orleans with the Red Lister Alexis Sorokin aka Danya. The Camarilla pursue her in attempts to securing the eye as odd supernatural effects are impacting the city. In the end Danya trades the Eye of Haziel over to unknown parties.
• Regent Henry Gaurant of the Sabbat is revealed to be an Infernalist and slain by the Sabbat in Mexico City. The Toreador Antitrbu Venere Carboni is elected as the new Regent of the Sabbat.

2011

• The Year of Fire. The Baali Founder Moloch awakens from the ruins of Carthage along with hordes of infernal vampires from centuries past. His rampage is driven by the death of his love Troile, who was destroyed under mysterious Circumstances. The Brujah clan experencies the Month of Rage, similar to the Ravnos during the Week of Nightmares, the Brujah start hunting and slaughtering one another across the world. Brujah also, at this time, start developing the forgotten discipline of Temporis and the birth the Kairos and Dispassionate bloodlines of the clan are born. As Moloch’s Generals spread across the world to seek its destruction and ruin by Demonic forces, the forces of the Camarilla, Sabbat, Anarchs, and Independents ban together in the Convention of Fire. A treaty is formed to combat this infernal threat to all vampires. In the end Moloch is confronted by the alliance, Moloch himself vanishes with the Ghost of Troile at his side. Though the increase of Infernal and Baali threat remains in the world. The Neo-Carthgians (Vampires who seek to emulate the city of Carthage) emerge as a threat and “sect”.
• In the Wake of the Year of Fire, the Setite Temple known as the Laybrinth of Bones goes quiet.
• Several of the Inconnu leaders continue their path of Infernalism and break with the others. These, Hunyadi, believe they can channel demonic strength to combat the greater infernal threats of the world.
• The Garou battle Weep-For-Her the powerful Black Spiral preventing the return of the Eater of Souls. As a result, the Garou are able to recover an egg for the great spirit Turtle

2014

• The 4th Sabbat Civil War. An Assassination Attempt on Sabbat Regent Venere Carboni occurs, resulting in his disappearance and suspected death. As a result the Sabbat Consistory breaks in their choices to react. Half of the Consistory starts to impose Authoritarian laws and has several Archbishops and Cardinals killed. In their attempt to instill law and order in the Sabbat to prevent a Civil War the cause one instead. Several factions of Cainites are revealed in the Sabbat. The Ecclesiastical Faction maker their appearance as a faction vying for supremacy in the Sect as the religious leaders of the Sabbat. The Keys of Solomon appear as a group of Diabolists seeking to continue to aid the Sabbat, no longer hiding among the shadows. Cardinal Moncada seemingly returns from the dead and long dead Seraphim Corvus returns to the Black Hand. In the end at Ecumenical Council, Venere Carboni returns in a paranoid rant about a hidden conspiracy of the Sabbat. Few listen, as he is killed and blamed for causing the 4th Sabbat Civil War. As a result, the Tzimisce Radu of Bistri is made Regent of the Sabbat.
• The Camarilla Red Lister Dylan makes is seen around North America wielding what is believed to be the Sword of Troile.
• The Wraiths of City of Stygia is reclaimed and remade. The 6xth Great Maelstrom has ended. Stygia, the Guilds, and Legion begin to rebuild.
• A Second Week of Nightmares occurs, but instead of the Ravnos being slaughtered once more, they receive cryptic and apocalyptic visions.
• The Garou are given the 8th sign of the Phoenix

2015

• Clan Nosferatu experiences the Brood War between its members of various sects.
• The Anarch Manifesto “Anarchs Unbound” is released.
• The Knights of the Moon, Malkvaians with Dominate in clan instead of Dementation, unite as a faction within the clan.
• Camarilla Justicar Jaroslav Pascek steps down and is replaced by Manuela of Clan Brujah as their Justicar
• Camarilla Justicar Cock Robin of Clan Nosferatu Steps down and is replaced by Warwick of clan Nosferatu.
• The Renascut bloodline of the Ravnos clan appear. Now almost any Vampire of any clan can undergo a mystical ritual and become Reanascut
• The Garou and Changelings begin to form an alliance and treaty between their two peoples.
• The Assamite Antitribu of the Sabbat reclaim their Unconquered Alamut in India
• The Red Star explodes in the night Sky and shards of it fall to earth. Only the Supernaturals of the world can see this, but the Red Star is no more.
• A cleansing energy washes across creation, corrupted nodes and hives wither in the face of the onslaught from the Seat of Entropy itself. Voormas' forces in other locations manage to deflect some of the energy, but more than half of the corrupted locations of the world are either destroyed or cleansed in the process.
• Blood Spot is introduced. A mystical Kindred App that blocks all Masquerade breeches on the Internet. It is released by a group of Anarchs known as the Digital Draculas
