Ductus

Charles Luciano

Luck 2.jpg
  • Clan: Tzimisce
  • Position: Ductus
  • Faction: Children of the Dracon (Dracul)
  • Status: 2 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: The life of Charles “Lucky” Luciano is known to men and immortal a life. The father of the Commission. The student of Arnold Rothstein. And the godfather of the greatest organized crime syndicate ever created. Charles was even a hero to the American people during World War two when he used his immense influence to make moves and sabotage the regime of Mussolini. Though deported to Italy by the US government, his influence as leader of the Commission never faltered until his death. Even if he had never become a vampire, his life alone had granted immortality in the words of history.

Charle’s life had caused many of the undead in Italy to become interested in embracing him. His immense influence and power of the commission would be of great use to any group of vampires. But it was the Italian Grimaldi who got to him first. On his death bed, Niccolo Grimaldi approached Charles with an offer. In exchange to his aid and influence, he would grant him eternal life. Not ready to die, Luciano quickly agreed to the offer and became one of the damned. In his first years of embrace Luciano remained in Italy learning at the mansions of the Grimaldi. Becoming a student of his new condition he quickly learned of his new clan’s history and of the Sabbat itself. Seeing now the shadows that pulled the strings of the world, Luciano wanted apply his own strategy he had learned in life to his condition now. For many years Charles traveled in Italy seeking out teachers to learn the ways of the Jyhad. Just as he had under Arnold Rothstein.

Eventually Luciano used his vast influence and pull to have his fellow allies among the commission embraced; including his oldest ally Meyer Lansky. It would not be for many years before Luciano would reveal his true influence he had been wielding to his own ends. Few know the truth of what became of Charles “Lucky” Luciano. After spending decades as the student, waiting to make his move, he finally returns to his true home of New York. Luciano was quick to discover his old rival of Maranzano still alive and picking up right where he left up as a mortal. It is in the shadows now that Luciano returns to New York, consolidating his own power to ready himself to make his next move in the Jyhad.

Pack Priest

Meyer Lansky

Lansky 2.jpg
  • Clan: Ventrue antitribu
  • Position: Pack Priest
  • Faction: Moderates (Marshal)
  • Status: 3 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Less famous then Luciano, Rothstein, or Maranzano; Meyer Lansky is often forgotten when compared to the history and influence of them. In truth, Lansky was just as influential and important to the history of organized crime in New York City and indeed the world itself. Lansky had a hand in many of the casinos across the world and was right next to Luciano in the rise of the Commission. Though no one was every able to pin anything on him, Lansky had long since retired to Miami enjoying the fruits of his labors. On his death bed, dying of lung cancer his old friend Charles Luciano had sent someone to being him into the undeath he too was now enjoying.

Calling in favors he had earned and using his own influence, Charles Luciano arranged for his old friend to be embraced into the Sabbat. Brought into undeath, Meyer had many new questions. His sire explained what he had become and why he had been embraced. Meyer took this invitation to travel to Italy to see his old friend once more. Once he arrived, Meyer was greeted by Charles. Luciano quickly explained his plans and ambitions. Meyer was quick to join his old friend and pick back up where they had left off. Together to the two formed the Commission pack, named after their greatest accomplishment.

Tonight Meyer stands next to Luciano once more as they cultivate their plans and return once more to New York City. Meyer finds it ironic that it is Maranzano who once again stands in their way. Though they beat him once at his own game, and now they plan to do so once again. In this, Meyer sees even more opportunity for himself and his pack.

Abbott

Santino Lucchese

Santino 2.jpg
  • Clan: Pander
  • Position: Abbott
  • Faction: Moderates (Comrade)
  • Status: 2 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Of all the members of The Commission, Santino is the only one that can be said to be vicious, cruel, and sadistic. His gaunt face, slightly bulging eyes, and thin hair reinforce that notion, and his packmates don’t necessarily dispute those claims. To them, Santino is instinctive, demanding, and sometimes thoughtless, but it never hurts to have a packmate with a reputation for heinous deeds that you can leverage, especially when you’re trying to make a name for yourself in a city like New York.

Other Members

Valentino Genovese

Val 2.jpg
  • Clan: City Gangrel
  • Position: True Sabbat
  • Faction: Children of the Dracon (Count)
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Another member of New York City’s Cainite mafioso population who leaned whole-heartedly into the gangster aesthetic, Valentino Genovese is the picture of organized crime; The fedora, the black and white suit with red tie, the smokes, it’s enough to make some wonder why he goes through all the trouble just to conceal his face behind a Mask of a Thousand Faces. Valentino grew up on stories of New York’s criminal underworld enterprises, so much so that the night he was embraced in Vienna he caught a flight the very next evening to the Big Apple and never looked back. His creativity is a boon to The Commission, but his imagination can run away with him sometimes, to the annoyance of his comrades.

Michael Gambino

Michael Gam 2.jpg
  • Clan: Malkavian antitribu
  • Position: True Sabbat
  • Faction: Children of the Dracon (Aprod)
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Dressed all in black and wearing an intense expression, Michael Gambino is the late-comer to the pack. One of his friends had been embraced several months before he was, and the power dynamic of their relationship had slowly stressed under the change. Michael used to be the emphatic leader, and his friend the quiet follower, but one night a surge of insanity left Michael dying on his kitchen floor in an expanding puddle of his own blood. While his subsequent embrace did nothing to cure him of his ill temper and bad manners, it did make him far more valuable to his underworld contacts in The Commission.

Daniel Profaci

Daniel 2.jpg
  • Clan: Nosferatu antitribu
  • Position: True Sabbat
  • Faction: Children of the Dracon (Aprod)
  • Status: 1 (Positional), 5 (Reputational)
  • Background: Daniel Profaci was something of a secretive occult fanatic. He loved seances, tarot readings, and the like, and truly believed in them. When the moderate authority, which his position in organized crime afforded him, led him onto the trail of the real supernatural, he started down a trail that would end in his attempts at a ritual to transform himself into a vampire. The ritual failed, but he doesn’t know that. While he thinks the power of his magic transformed him into a monstrous creature of the night, his sire knows the truth: that he embraced Daniel in the middle of his ritual and then fled into the night, leaving him to his confusion as a sick joke. The gangster frequently uses Obfuscate and a plethora of disguise pieces to conceal his true nature from the world, though his snake-like eyes are the one thing he can’t seem to cover up except with sunglasses or contacts.
