Ecaterina the Wise

• Background: Over eight centuries ago, Ecaterina was Embraced in Prague, following her near-rape at the hands of a pair of Ventrue-paid mercenaries. The mercenaries both met their just ends, but not before shattering Ecaterina's jaw as she tried to resist them. Marhuel did what he could to repair the damage, but medicine at the time was spotty at best. Childe of Marhuel and grandchilde of Dominic, she was active among the Prometheans of Transylvania during the Dark Ages.

By the time of the Anarch Revolt, she joined with the Anarchs and later the Sabbat. She eventually became the first Bishop of New York City, although she later fell under the authority of Archbishop Francisco Domingo de Polonia. Ecaterina was rediscovered and awoken from Torpor by the Sabbat in 1998. Due her age and prestige in the sect; the Sabbat of New York demanded she be elevated to the status of Priscus for the city. Since that time she has taken control of the MET and offers her wisdom and advice to any young Sabbat who will hear it. She hopes, that her words can act as counter to Polonia's own and seeks to restore the Sabbat to its true purpose from the nights of the Anarch Revolt.

• Background: The right hand of Polonia and the oldest Bishop to still claim the title in New York is the Keeper known as Simon Orozco. Simon is a quiet Lasombra who prefers his studies to politics. He is a paragon of the Path of Caine and was a Catholic Priest in life. He holds much of the history of New York in his libraries and finds company with the Kiasyd Nicodemus most often. He is often known as the spiritual bishop of the city and will tend to the packs and their priests to see they are performing their duties. It is in this way Simon has become something of a master politician. By leaning into the faith of the Sabbat; he has the ear of most packs of the city.

• Background: The childer of Ecaterina dates himself back to the early nights of the Anarch Revolt as well. With collapse of the war effort her followed his sire to New York and into the arms of the Sabbat. Wilhem embodies the scholarly warrior brujah of old and is rarely not at the side of his sire. When approached he is happy to tell tales about the old war and some broodmate of his named Christof. He is always happy to help any sabbat who is not simply a childish monsters making cries of free Sabbat. While a warrior and monster; he does always have his honor.

• Background: Few get the honor or privilege to speak with Nicodemus. The cities resident Kiasyd has taken the New York Public library as his personal territory. This recluse vampire can been seen most often speaking with Bishop Simon Orozoco and few others. To be granted an audience with Nicodemus is a great honor among the cities Sabbat. He has collected a wealth of knowledge and history of the city. It is said he has tombs of every single vampire to call the city home with their complete lineages. Nicodemus knows the greatest secrets of the city and will rarely share them with others. Those foolish enough to not respect the Kiasyd's territory are quick to find themselves driven mad forever in a labyrinth of their own mind.
