Background: Raised in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens, Jonathan learned during his teenage years about the joys of sneaking into Manhattan, hitting the clubs, partying all night and creeping home just in time to go to school in the morning. By the time he had graduated and attended a city college, of course, he no longer had to hide it, but his nightlife continued. Thus it was that he met his sire, one of the provisional members of the Number-One Heartthrob pack. She Embraced him after a night of debauchery, and he turned his back forever on school and the mortal world.

Background: Destiny had a last name once, a long time ago, back when her mother used to chide her for losing herself in the nightclub scene. After she ran away from home at the age of 16, she fell in with a bad crowd who raised her to be just like them. What she didn’t realize was that her “big sister”, Kandy, was already a Cainite. Once Kandy had molded Destiny into her ideal image of a packmate, she planned to embrace her but was beaten to the punch by another member of the Sabbat, Schuyler Kincaid of the Double Edges pack. Destiny ended up remaining with Kandy and her pack, but has developed a deep-rooted hatred of Schuyler for the true sisterhood that was stolen from her.

Background: Truly the stereotype of punk-gothic vampire, Rick plays the scene for all it’s worth. He was inducted into Number One Heartthrob almost as a matter of principle, since he didn’t have a pack and spent all of his time in their territory anyway. When Destiny’s embrace was usurped, Kandy and Destiny both suspected Rick of being a plant by Schuyler to keep eyes on the young at-the-time mortal. Once he proved himself innocent of their speculations, the two put Rick to use in the very same way. Rick’s presence at Toreador-Antitribu Clan meetings as of late has been almost solely to watch Schuyler’s movements in preparation for what he is certain is an elaborate and dramatic revenge ploy.
