Her shoulder length, feathered, platinum blond hair, leather choker, dark lipstick, and highly revealing clothing all combine to hide the truth that Melissa was part of a shovel party shortly after Rothstein himself was embraced. When she survived and returned to claim her place among the Sabbat of the 1930s, the two hit it off instantly. When Rothstein formed Sky Night Blue, there was no one else he trusted his morality to than her.

His suit and white dress scarf only add to that appearance of decorum. His faithful, if melodramatic tendencies were exactly what drew Arnold to him. The newly forming Sky Night Blue needed someone who could take care of their nightly needs, and who would be unfailingly loyal about it. Not only did Alfonso prove himself just the Cainite for the job, the fact that he harbored a quietly burning, unrequited passion for Melissa ensured that he would never choose to abandon the pack.

For that, he needed his former yes-man, Enrico Russo. Always dressing as a proper mafioso should, Russo embraced his role as Rothstein’s go-getter. He was always taken care of, and it seemed that would be the way it remained in the Cainite world as well, so when his former Boss, now Ductus, tells him to get a job done, he gets the job done, no questions asked.

			* Background: Vincenzo is a modern addition to Sky Night Blue. A distant, dying relative of Enrico’s, Rothstein did Russo the favor of embracing Vincenzo Angelis into the Sabbat and giving him a place among their pack. His modern sensibilities really show through in his clothing, his trinkets, and his choice of weapons. Even Melissa will resort to a tommy gun when push comes to shove, but not Vincenzo. He prefers modern pistols and rifles, which the rest of his pack must admit is far more efficient. Sky Night Blue just has to be careful to watch over their new embrace until they can be sure he isn’t going to draw down too much fire on their heads. Modern Cainites seem to have far less restraint than those embraced even fifty years ago, and Vincenzo de Angelis is just such an individual.

			* Background: Before Luciano, before Maranzano there was Arnold Rothstein. The first true King of New York. A crime boss and businessman Arnold Rothstein’s history tied to the very history of New York itself. Gaining fame first with his suspected rigging of the 1919 World series, Arnold was a notorious gambler who had a love for games of strategy and chance. Yet somehow he always ended up on top. Many suspected him of being a grand cheater, but in truth Arnold was a master strategist and tactician that he not only applied to his gambling habits but to his life of crime and business. His love for gambling and reputation as a cheater would lead to his own downfall when Arnold Rothstein was shot and killed in 1928.

			Of course though this would not truly be the end for the infamous Arnold Rothstein. Arnold had attracted the attention of many of the Cainites of New York. So much so on his death bed in Stuyvesant Polyclinic Hospital in Manhattan, the Lasombra elder and mafia don Camillo turned Arnold Rothstein and bringing him into the world of the damned as his childe. At first Arnold was shocked to learn of his new condition, but quickly learned to adapt. Though Camillo had hopes to gain the influence of his new childe, Arnold was quick to depart his sire’s side after he learned the basics of what he needed to survive; rather became quick to carve out his own destiny.
