After she ran away from home at the age of 16, she fell in with a bad crowd who raised her to be just like them. What she didn’t realize was that her “big sister”, Kandy, was already a Cainite. Once Kandy had molded Destiny into her ideal image of a packmate, she planned to embrace her but was beaten to the punch by another member of the Sabbat, Schuyler Kincaid of the Double Edges pack. Destiny ended up remaining with Kandy and her pack, but has developed a deep-rooted hatred of Schuyler for the true sisterhood that was stolen from her.

Once he proved himself innocent of their speculations, the two put Rick to use in the very same way. Rick’s presence at Toreador-Antitribu Clan meetings as of late has been almost solely to watch Schuyler’s movements in preparation for what he is certain is an elaborate and dramatic revenge ploy.
